Wrinkle Prevention For Dummies - May 8th, 2009

Most people want an easy way to reduce wrinkles or at least prevent them.  They want at home remedies that don’t cost money and can be easily utilized, wrinkle care for dummies in other words.  There are some easy ways to do it.  You won’t reduce wrinkles, but you can prevent them certainly.

  1. Sleep on your back

When you sleep on pillows and so on, you may temporarily cause wrinkles called sleep lines.  Over time, with repeated incidences, this could cause them to stay.  Sleeping facedown also gives you a furrowed brow.  So sleep on your back, it’s very easy.

  1. Get reading glasses

When you don’t have them, because of pride or something else, it really doesn’t matter why you don’t have them, you may squint to see things, sometimes without even realizing you’re doing it.  So stop squinting and start reading.

  1. Eat more soy

While it mimics estrogen and therefore men might want to stay away from it, women can obviously benefit from it in more ways than one.  It can actually protect your skin against sun damage and heal it from past damage.  They improve skin structure and firmness after just 6 months according to one study.

  1. Eat more omega fatty acids

This can reduce the occurrence of wrinkles.  It protects and nourishes the skin while also plumping it.

  1. Eat cocoa instead of coffee

It has that chocolaty taste, and it is full of epicatechins and catechins which protect the sun from skin and work as effective antioxidants to kill free radicals along the way.  They also improve circulation, hydration, and improve skin’s look and smooth feel.
