Correlation

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

There is an amazing correlation out there that is hard to ignore, even though many doctors and modern food experts seem to wish it would just go away. The correlation is simply this. Our kids are having more and more clinical behavior problems, to the point of crisis, and the consumption of fresh vegetables, grains and whole foods in general has dropped precipitously.
People tend to get offended when you tell them that there kids ADHD could be diet related, but that is just part of the problem. We are now looking at a generational problem where the kids bodies oftentimes never received the nutrients that little growing bodies need. Kids are a great way to tell if a culture is deficient in nutrition because the react more strongly to their environments. The simple fact is that we have more hyper and hard to manage children, and about a fifty percent drop in eating fresh foods over the last 50 years or so. There have been many different cases where a society goes through rough times and all there is to eat is the “poor food” ie. fresh grains and vegetables. Lo and behold the people get healthier every time this happens, and particularly the children.
